Quite a while ago now - 18th June - I recieved an email in German, addressed to 'tony@cl.cam.ac.uk', to my Cam addy. I thought it was probably some kind of 419-scam thing, but actually it appears to be a report of a news item, like one would send around things. From 'execdir@royalmetsoc.org'. I can't work out how to get Hermes to giv eme full headers, so I can't work out if it was in any way addressed to me or whether Hermes was having a complete off day...
Now I shall go to sleep.
Now I shall go to sleep.

Date: 2004-07-14 08:01 am (UTC)From:The webmail thingy is called Prayer. Originally, when I was getting mails from one of my Christunfrends on hermes with "Prayer" in the headers (you see, I do press "H" out of curiousity), I thought it was some kind of mailer for Christians. Perhaps it filters out porn, mention of Richard Dawkins or something, I thought. Disappointingly, it turns out that it's called Prayer because the Oxford version is called Wing.
I have no idea how you persuade Prayer to give you full headers.
