Quite a while ago now - 18th June - I recieved an email in German, addressed to 'tony@cl.cam.ac.uk', to my Cam addy. I thought it was probably some kind of 419-scam thing, but actually it appears to be a report of a news item, like one would send around things. From 'execdir@royalmetsoc.org'. I can't work out how to get Hermes to giv eme full headers, so I can't work out if it was in any way addressed to me or whether Hermes was having a complete off day...

Now I shall go to sleep.

So presumably the message was just a 'well, I throw this message at millions of possibilities on this server, and it doesn't bounce off this one' message to find out your address.
