If you have recently been taken off my friends-list: it's nothing personal, I just feel rather overwhelmed by the amount of LJ I had to read, so I had to be quite harsh in who stayed on. I was probably still a bit too soft-hearted in some cases...

Wow! How can anyone know that many people? :) This is how people like Katie end up inviting 100 people to a birthday. Though being musical helps.

By having several generations of friends one has refused to let go of. Having been all alone in the world once or twice makes me very leery of drifting away from *anyone*, but sometimes I have to fail to keep up with a couple of people quite so determinedly for the sake of my ongoing sanity.
