Computers don't like me today.
One of them decided not to come with a zip disk drive, and the other decided not to have a working network connection, and the third decided not to have an account I could use. Then the first one did a *serious* Blue Screen Of Death on me - NT dumping core is rather unpleasent when you've just spent almost half an hour trying to fiddle with curves you can't save in the middle of doing them... not to mention the email I meant to send to Raj about what I'd found out about the curves, she's got a very terse second attempt at it waiting for her now. Then I discovered that NT takes longer to shut down than it does to start up, although it isn't as unkind to people who don't shut it down properly as some 95 boxen (Scandisk is annoying).
I had a APU diary which I suspect Raj 'acquired' from somewhere and a pound coin waved at me today - the pound coin was just sitting in the office so Paul Ingle gave it to me, and Raj gave me the diary for no apparent reason.
I was wondering how long it would take before I ended up doing photocopying, *grin*. I had a document that was over 50 pages long to photocopy and I wasn't allowed to use the input tray thing because the original was the only copy of this report and they were paranoid about it getting mangled... I also did some random checking-stuff-off-a-big-list...
Now I'm tired and bored and vague. Ahwell.
