Yes, Matrix: Reloaded kicks ass. Plenty of it. (And, y'know, it takes quite something to kick a donkey, because you know it'll kick back; then again, M:R probably kicked it with a full clip from a semi-automatic, and hence that's one donkey that'll be doing no kicking again...)
Um. Yes. Anyway.
Today I was attacked by scary people and powercuts. (Scary people = the windowcleaner (I hate windowcleaners. I drew the curtains on him. I just can't stand being watched.) and the washing-machine repair man (5 points if you remember the obscure quotation dealing with washing-machine repair men). The latter was actually very nice and polite, but I was still terrified. Bah.)
The powercuts were just annoying. Apparently Sainsburys caught fire though, which was mildly amusing. They were trying to switch to a back-up generator to keep their frozen stuff frozen (Tesco's were busy chucking theirs out when my mother got there, because it'd been 'defrosted' an hour, and they couldn't sell it even though it was fine and people kept begging them to) and suddenly there were big clouds of smoke coming out of the back of Sainsburys, and they had to evacuate everyone. This included one of my mother's co-workers, who was very upset because she'd just done her entire week's shopping and only had two items left to go through, and had to leave it all there :-(.
