Today, I have done *nothing*.

Not entirely true - I went shopping this morning. It was one of *those* shopping trips - y'know, where the person in front of you is always doing something really complicated? At the train station (because naturally, I forgot my season ticket on Friday) the person in front of me took a quarter of an hour (15mins sounds longer that way, doesn't it?) filling out forms in quintuplicate - it appeared to be something to do with annual season ticket renewal, compensation for how bad the trains were for the last season ticket, and claiming back a fine due to having no ticket but possessing a valid annual season ticket. Sheesh. And then a gang of random boys turned up, smoking and trying to beat each other up, but thankfully they gave up and went to the automatic ticket machine after a bit.

After that challenge, we went to put in some dry cleaning. Simple, you may think. Ah, but the guy in the shop had to fill the till up with change first. Still, that was the easiest shop. Mm, I guess the library wasn't too hard, except for me being utterly dozy and not registering it was my turn in the queue until my mother pushed me forwards, and walking into stuff.

Anyway, then we went to buy some cloth for the church noticeboard. The people in front of us there were buying 35 yards of some material or other, which took a fair while for the guy to measure out and wrap so they could carry it. And the stuff we wanted didn't come in the right width. And so the guy found us some other stuff that'd do, and then went off to serve someone else 'cos they were looking at more expensive fabric, so we had to wait again.

And that was it. That was all we got, and it took the *entire morning*.

And that was it for the day, really. Played lots of StarCraft, didn't get anywhere, lost a lot. Read about half the email in my Spoon directory, considered giving up on the game but too lazy to send the email. Replied to a copost thingamy for Ridges RPG. Spodded quite briefly. Read LJ exhaustively, commented a bit. Failed to reply to either/any of the emails I ought've replied to. Played on Neopets for a bit, doing the daily thingamies. Tried to do some SC scenario editing, but didn't have my ideas to hand so gave up.

Then I loaded up Paint Shop Pro for a good, healthy round of self-loathing about how utterly rubbish my artwork is. Scanned half a ton of rubbish, began to clean up a few bits, got too tired to even do that, started running a bath and began to write whiny LJ entry about how useless my day has been instead of doing anything useful.

Let bath run too long while writing LJ entry. Thankfully parents out at some random music thingamy so no-one to moan at me except myself.
