Okay, no walk 'cos it was raining, just a trip to the hairdressers (just to trim the fringe!) and then being sent to go post something to expose me to more of that ghastly fresh-air stuff. Now back online with decent music and purring contentedly .

...but they must've thought it was some kind of weird HTML tag! That's why there's a space between 'contentedly' and the full-stop.

Yeah, web browsers (by default) don't display anything that looks like an HTML tag that they don't understand. Try writing it as <evilgrin> instead?

I notice that the evilgrin turns up in the reported entry on the comments page, but not in the subject on this reply page to a comment with it in the subject... wierd.
