I could update this LJ properly, but I'm far too sleepy.

Highlights of the missed time include finding a baby black scorpion on the way back home from the train station (well, that's the closest match I can think of - the legs were all wrong tho, long spindly daddy-long-legs type things), and coding a roughly AD&D character generation routine in C.

Maybe I'll write stuff up properly when I'm awake.

Finding a scorpion wouldn't be a highlight in my opinion. Far too many scorpions out here as it is. Black widow spiders, too. Eeevil.

Yeah yeah, but finding one in the middle of Essex (and not just a normal type one, but a weird thing that swims across puddles with its tail and stuff, about 6cm long and jet black and shiny... and prolly not a scorpion after all but rather too large for an insect) was pretty cool, okay?
