http://www.didmympshowupornot.com/ claims that David Howarth didn't show up for the DEB Second Reading. OTOH, he did show up for the Third Reading, and complain about the whole process. I am informed that http://www.theyworkforthebpi.com/ is much more accurate and it appears to be so from checking a couple of data points...

Following quoted from an email from his office:

The Liberal Democrats, including Mr Howarth, voted against the Bill at its Third Reading but the Bill was nonetheless passed by 189 votes to 47.

Mr Howarth had also spoken in the debate on the Business of the House, on Tuesday 6 April, saying the following:

"May I ask the Leader of the House about the Digital Economy Bill? The proposal appears to be to take the Second Reading today and all the remaining stages tomorrow. Given that there are a number of highly controversial proposals in the Bill, especially that about web blocking, surely now that we are in the wash-up, the most appropriate thing for the Government and the Leader of the House to do at this stage is to say that the Government will not proceed with those controversial parts of the Bill. That will save us all a lot of time and trouble over the next two or three days."

Since Mr. Howarth is in any case retiring as the MP for Cambridge and not standing for re-election, his record is of less interest than it might otherwise be.

Though it is good to know he continues to do his job right up until the end.

A complete aside, but when you said that www.didmympshowupornot.com was misleading, I thought you were going to say because you could interpret the URL as reading 'Did my MP show u porn OT'. Sorry, I'm a bit anaemic and my mind is playing tricks on me today.
