I've done something very similar to this meme before, but now I have 12 actual LARP characters...

(yes, I have teh procrastinate. Which is dumb, because I'm stupidly busy.)

Name 12 characters you have played in RPGs/LRPs, before looking at the questions that follow. List your characters numbered 1 to 12, with the name of the RPG/LRP you played them in. Once you've picked your 12 characters, look at the questions and answer accordingly. (No peeking until you've picked your characters!) Put your answers behind a LJ-cut.

1) Jessily, Maelstrom
2) Tourmaline, Maelstrom
3) Talishae, Maelstrom
4) Mithril, CUTT
5) Thea, CUTT
6) Charridy, CUTT
7) Kallestra, CUTT
8) Brunhilde, CUTT
9) Challa, CUTT
10) Silka, CUTT
11) Ekaterina, AVG (Alternate Vivamortian Grantabrugge, a CUTT holiday special)
12) Tesseract, FD (Forever's Destiny, a LARP group near Manchester)

1. Who would make a better college professor: 6, or 11?
Ekaterina, unquestionably. Charridy just isn't an intellectual powerhouse in any sense, whereas Ekaterina has some academic nous (being a mage and all) and appropriate skills at deception to pull off the rest.

2. Do you think 2 is hot? How hot?
Tourmaline, being a strange crystalline life-form who also glowers most of the time, is so orthogonal to the concept of 'hot' that the question hurts my brain.

3. 12 sends 8 on a mission. What is it, and does it succeed?
The only mission Tesseract would be likely to send Brunhilde on is the quest to get her something other than beer at the bar. Brunhilde would then provide her with apple juice, or possibly some more exotic fruit juice if that's closer to hand, which sounds pretty successful to me.

4. What is, or would be, 9's favourite book?
Challa enjoyed the kind of good, sturdy book you can crack someone over the head with in an emergency, or the kind with nice soft pages you could hang in the outhouse. Being illiterate, and all.

5. Would it make more sense for 2 to swear fealty to 6, or the other way around?
Neither were really the fealty type. I could see Charridy doing odd tasks and running around as a messenger for Tourmaline, though. Not so much the other way around. Charridy had less self-respect when it came to what she'd do to infiltrate someone's network.

6. For some reason, 5 is looking for a room-mate. Should they share a studio apartment with 9, or 10?
Thea should share an apartment with Challa, who she'd get on quite well with, them being very similar characters with very similar expectations of a room-mate. Nobody should have to share a studio apartment with Silka, they'd come back to find interesting symbols drawn in blood and whitewash on their sheets which have been hung artistically from the ceiling, or worse...

7. 2, 7, and 12 have dinner together. Where do they go, and what do they discuss?
Tourmaline and Kallestra are exceptionally polite to each other and end up discussing comparative theology while Tessaract tucks into her food enthusiastically and occasionally makes confused faces. I envisage them in the kind of medieval tavern which is to your standard tavern what a posh restaruanty 'gastro-pub' is to your local dive.

8. 3 challenges 10 to a duel. What happens?
Talishae and Silka proceed to have a duel involving the spoken version of the Game of Forms, some kind of esoteric argument about the nature of the world, and occasional bouts of running around each other with daggers. Eventually Talishae finds herself slowly bleeding from a dagger stuck in the small of her back and concededs, Silka walks off with a triumphant expression, and Talishae takes out the dagger and heals herself.

9. If 1 stole 8's most precious possession, how would they get it back?
Brunhilde would find out where Jessily had taken him, and show up with a hammer to do the traditional 'don't you dare do that with my husband again, you shameless hussy' thing and drag him back to Roma by his ear.

10. Suggest a title for a story in which 7 and 12 both attain what they most desire.
"Ascensions", in which those Tessaract has lost come back from the dead and Kallestra discovers that there is indeed an afterlife for the pure.

11. What kind of plot device would you use if you wanted 4 and 1 to work together?
"This is going to be _hilarious_" is the only motivation that Jessily and Mithril would need...

12. If 7 visited you for the weekend, how would you get along?
Kallestra would be desperately uncomfortable and frigidly polite, whilst I would be vaguely embarrassed and keep trying to find some way to make her more at home, without much success. She would probably spend most of the time taking long showers, combing out her hair, filing her nails and politely ignoring me.

13. If you could command 3 to perform any one task or service for you, what would it be?
Talishae would make a kickass research assistant, and could do my job much better than me with a couple of days to get up to speed with these weird computer things. I'd just hand her my to-do list and let her get on with it. (Usually I'd make most people tidy my flat, but Talishae would be pretty much even worse at that than me, and I don't really feel like torturing the poor girl.)

14. Does anyone on your friends list resemble 11 (either in appearance or personality)?
The core of Ekaterina's fundamental being (personality, habits, tics) is basically entirely stolen from [livejournal.com profile] enchantedmelody.

15. If 2 had to choose sides between 4 and 5, which would it be?
That's actually quite difficult. I think in the end Tourmaline would side with Thea on account of her having more experience and common sense, but he'd have a certain sympathy for Mithril's chaotic alignment.

16. What might 10 shout while charging into battle?
"Your eyes are very pretty this morning. Almost like dying." Or "The sky and the moon and the dreams and the sea bid you be still and stop attacking me, HALT 10."

17. If you chose a song to represent 8, which song would you choose?
Brunhilde's theme song is 'Something Beautiful' by Jars of Clay.

18. 1, 6, and 12 are having dim sum at a Chinese restaurant. There is only one scallion pancake left, and they all reach for it at the same time. Who gets to eat it?
Tesseract. Jessily hesitates a moment too long and Charridy's arms are too short.

19. What might be a good pick-up line for 2 to use on 10?
"Tell me about your god." There would then be a hilarious conversation where Tourmaline attempted to work out what pattern Silka was using in answering questions and Silka would keep changing it and watching him get frustrated with big, soulful eyes.

20. What would 5 most likely be arrested for?
Thea would most likely be arrested for Disturbing the Peace after demonstrating soundly to some unfortunate tavern patron why you still don't want to involve her in a bar fight.

21. What is 6's secret?
Charridy was spectacularly hopeless at secrets. I can't think of anything she actually succesfully kept a secret.

22. If 11 and 9 were racing to a destination, who would get there first?
Over any reasonable distance, Ekaterina would get there first because she would do sensible things like acquire horses or magical transportation whilst Challa would just hike / jog / run there.

23. If you had to walk home through a bad neighborhood late at night, would you feel safer in the company of 7 or 8?
Brunhilde, definitely. Brunhilde is a solid, no-nonsese dwarvish lady with an axe, and is probably carrying healing potions too. Even if she's actually no good with the axe, people probably wouldn't mess with her to find out. Kallestra would be hopeless and probably more nervous than me.

24. 1 and 9 reluctantly team up to save the world from the threat posed by 4's sinister secret organization. 11 volunteers to help them, but it is later discovered that he/she is actually a spy for 4. Meanwhile, 4 has kidnapped 12 in an attempt to force their surrender. Following the wise advice of 5, they seek out 3, who gives them what they need to complete their quest. What title would you give this fic?

"The Moon Rises Also For You", and it's disturbingly plausible:

Jessily and Challa reluctantly team up to save the world from the threat posed by Mithril's sinister secret organization. Ekaterina volunteers to help them, but it is later discovered that he/she is actually a spy for Mithril. Meanwhile, Mithril has kidnapped Tesseract in an attempt to force their surrender. Following the wise advice of Thea, they seek out Talishae, who gives them what they need to complete their quest.
