As for today, got up at 9am in defeat - I *wanted* a decent, proper lie-in, but after several nasty confusing little dreamlets (I *could* write them all up, but I'm not sure I want to really, the origins of most of the bits was pretty obvious and boring, even some recurring footage from previous dreams was used) I decided to admit defeat because I was basically lying there awake anyway. Decided to have a strange breakfast - Ready-brek (which we have in the house 'cos my mother couldn't eat anything chewy for a while 'cos of some dental work) and Smarties - just because. Wasn't as nice as I thought it could be tho - should have just made very milky porridge, that'd've worked better I think. Maybe I put too much milk in the Ready-brek, tho.

Planned to read up to date my New Scientist magazines, but failed to find the second one I wanted to read and ended up with the Radio Times instead. Eventually admitted defeat and went for the computer. Started reading the PC Format while loading it up, and continued that for a bit, then started on Nethack. After playing Nethack for quite a while (on the PC version I have that won't save properly) I died horribly on that (lots of nice stuff too, grr - a Mordor Orc with a wand of magic missile basically did me in, although a Soldier Ant finished the job) and went online just to read LJ... I had a whole page-full of LJ! I had to check back to see if I'd missed any. Then I logged onto a talker when I started on these entries, 'cos I knew they were going to be massive.

But I'm still useless, 'cos I can't take hints... *randomdepressivenessnoises*

Never mind, there's always the bones file.

This version seems to decide at random whether to generate one of those or not - it didn't for this one... but I guess a cloak of displacement is only nice before you find cloaks of magic resistance or reflection (having played a bit more now)

do write up dreams

dreams are the best movies and stories because they are so random; so do write them up whether you put them on lj or not.

And sorry I don't remember what physics book you handed back (prolly cos I was too busy jittering about acting like I was about to kiss miss anwar's feet *grrs and blushes*).
