There was kind of a week last week, but it was somewhat interrupted by me working all hours so that I could leave off early on Friday to go to Maelstrom. Also by lots of stress and sewing to get kit together.

Malestrom was predictably excellent, and I might even have sold other people enough character ideas to not completely explode when this character dies (which I'm not sure they will, having plenty of random allies to run to). Currently I am a dryad sorcerer, but I desperately want to explore the other magic trees and the raising-large-armies/siege weapons/explorer stuff and the facet stuff and all of the building trees. (And everything else, obviously, but those are the more interesting-looking areas). I spent much time running around like a mad thing trying to organise meetings, of which I managed to organise three (out of, um, seven or so?) and one managed to self-organise. The Maelfroth is currently telling me to get writing 'letters' (i.e. email) to everyone my character knows so that I can organise half of next event, too, and I also have this urge to write to everyone for the purpose of compiling all of the stuff I know and could know if I asked.

I am somewhat regretting using my shiny notebook for a mix of IC and OOC notes because I'd forgotten how shiny it was :(. Maybe I can work out how to un-bind the first two leaves without it looking too awful.

I should probably do something with the many feet of camo netting I have left (I made a water bottle cover and a seat cover and a skirt, but I should probably make more costume out of it for spring and summer when I should have more leaves). Also I need to make a facet costume; I'm currently thinking about doing stuff with the vast quantities of purple fabric that Nicholas has left over, but I'm probably too impatient to actually make clothes. Current next-character plan is a Facet Builder/Talismancer.

Also I have the whole wondering-what-to-do-for-a-third-year-project thing going on. I would like to do something which is some part of the RPG Creator project I want to do, but the only small-enough part I have thought of is the scripting language, with the making-it-useful trick being a translator to NWN-script. But that still sounds like a lot of work for not a lot of actually 'demonstrating competence at Computer Science'.
