This would be one of those smoky affairs that it's not advisable for me to go anywhere near when I can't breathe properly already due to lergy, wouldn't it?

Not my local (Carlton Arms on Carlton Way). It's one of the reasons I like it so much (I'm asthmatic)

Admittedly, the town-side of Arbury might be a little bit far to walk/cycle if you are having breathing problems, but it's on a bus route.
