My monitor continues to be broken.

Today I have been asleep practically all day. Especially during those bits of it where I was wandering around repeating that I was fine and Uni was great and how were they? to everyone at church. There were lots and lots of people there today because it was the dedication service for some baby of a couple I barely know. So it was very packed and very hot. I do not cope well with either of these conditions at the best of times, whcih today wasn't. I meant to go to 8-10s tonight, but I may just fall over and go to sleep instead.

Went for a walk with my parents. Informed them that it was going to rain halfway round because I was there. Lo and behold, it rained halfway round. My dad suggested we ought to shelter under a tree for a bit (there was a ncie thick hedge that was stopping most of the rain) but we decided to press on. Given our advantage of hair and fleeces, this was possibly a little unfair.

[livejournal.com profile] vililee found me an old Postman Pat game I used to play on the Spectrum when I was Very Small Indeed. The company who wrote it seem to have done all the cool stuff (Sooty and Sweep, Wacky Races...).

Anyway, I shouldn't be playing computer games anyway, even ones with such retro / nostalgic value as these. I should do productive things like Maths or Tidying My Room. Or making the computers work right, but I think I'm going to ho have to break them before I fix them, and I don't want to break the 'net. And the monitor really is out of my league.

I'm typing a great long LJ post because my monitor is broken still and so whilst it's recovering from it's 'I'll turn off now' fits, I'm writing LJ nonsense. Until I've finished eating, then I'll probably just go get some sleep. I don't know why I was so tired today; perhaps yesterday was more stressful than I gave it credit for. Am sleepy, anyway, although at least the earache seems to have gone away.

What you don't yet realise is that for years after you finish uni they'll still ask you how uni is going every time they see you...
