chess: (holiday holiday holiday time!)
Yay, I found more pills! (Three, Zantac, to be precise.) This way I get not to die whilst waiting for medication, which is all of the good.

I haven't written diaryness for a week. Need lectures to give me time when I can sit and write stuff on my Psion; writing on Moondaughter just doesn't work as well for some reason, and I feel guilty using my Psion when I don't need to. (Because typing on them things is bad for you, or something.) Which is a shame because I've had little enough sleep to start forgetting things.

Like the dream with the insects which stung like nettles and turned into choking white powder. And where I needed some game or other to kill them but all I could find was Jenga; mountains and mountains of different Jenga varieties and clones and colours.

I have been vaguely attempting to tidy my room, but I think it might be a lost cause, which is awkward because I need to pack it all into boxes soon and currently it's looking quite uncooperative.

I think I need to get out of this place before it kills me.

Edit: I forgot to mention the cheese that I have had since the beginning of term. It is some variety of swiss cheese and quite tasty and appears not to have gone off in any way (wasn't taken out of its packet, was kept in a fridge). I find this long-lived-ness mildly disturbing, because it normally goes off inside a week in a fridge if the packet's opened. I need to be reminded to either finish eating it or throw it out, and in any case *get the wrapper out of my bin*, by the time my parents arrive, because otherwise they will be most disturbed. Of course, this will be the day they start reading my LJ... not that it really matters, and if they are they deserve to be a little disturbed...

Still haven't found my college card. Room still covered in mountains of junk. Haven't cleaned floor *all term*. The dust rhinos will be truely terrifying. I feel I probably ought to spare my parents their wrath, because they'll insist on cleaning and it's Mother's Day on Sunday (which I feel I ought to do something for other than say 'hi, haven't seen you in a term, now clear up all the junk I've been accumilating', which I feel is unnecessarily cruel, but I don't know what to do). That would, however, require effort and finding a broom that actually had some life left in it and wasn't just going to make matters worse.

Why will your parents be disturbed by cheese?

They might be disturbed if they can read the sell-by date, but it's usually printed quite small ;-)

Not dying is a definite bonus.

I've heard of this floor concept. It's probably overrated.

Exciting Card

You could make a funky card (and then credit it as by the 'Low Stone Wall' company (complete with appropriate logo), it's what Fiona and I always do. Problem is it's getting harder and harder to come up with a new idea.
After you've done a pig with bouncy tail on the back (complete with special envelope designed by Dad), and a ladybird whose wings you open to reveal the message, how do you follow it?
Fortunatly you don't have this problem, and the shop 'Birthday' is nearby in town.
