Apparently my supervisors all still love me (except for Maths, but that's quite obvious), despite my disregard and general lack of work. Even maths was only 'not absolutely and unremittingly positive'.

Everyone hates the Java course. Hopefully it will die a swift and painful death. Just another case of Wrong Year Syndrome, then.

Updated KDE today, which led to everything breaking messily, but my friendly neighbourhood actually-competant-compsci mdavison fixed it for me when I finally managed to dredge up centericq (which is a Really Handy text-based IM client) and ask him.

I should be doing some work. Or having a shower. Or drinking some water. Mm, end of term.

When the umberhulk attacked us rocks did fall as it came through the wall next to us but no one died, least of all me cos i got up a nereby wall faster then anyone could say "where is that theifing little shit going"

Its a template in the Feind folio its ECL +5 but its alot of fun.

Ive applied it to a half ork with pretty good stats and given it a level of monk to be followed by Psion levels ;-)

They're teaching a course named 'Objects First with BlueJ' which is designed to teach middle-school American kids how to program in Java. It is a very good course for its stated purpose. We are, however, not amused.
