I could do with working in this, ooh, all of ten minutes, but I went to the wrong computer room, and it would probably only have been five if I went to the right one, so I suppose it doesn't matter.
Went to the CLC girls Formal Hall yesterday. It was actually quite entertaining. I didn't go in *full* Kendar kit, but I did wear the bright pink skirt (with my sparkly jeans rather than the gold ones because going to Formal in tight jeans is just daft) and the random purple/blue shirt, and I couldn't find my formal shoes so I went in my walking shoes. Oh, and the fur coat, and the butterfly hairclip, and the random scrappy goth jacket just to finish off the 'completely random clothing' effect. Almost didn't recognise Marika, because she'd had her hair straightened. Talked for ages to someone from Girton, a second-year Geographer, whose name I managed to misplace very early on indeed. There were no pancakes, but there was cinnamon cream with dessert, so that made up for it.
I think I am still an introvert, though, because wandering out of the bar to go back to my room into the dark and silent night was a tremendous relief even though I hadn't noticed being stressed...
I've been finding it hard to wake up in the mornings because my dreams have been much more inviting than reality, but I've been deliberately failing to remember them because they seem close enough that they get tangled up with actual memories, which is a real pain.
