(I am stuck in C4. It is freezing. Outside there is a blizzard, complete with thunder and lightning. I have no hat and no scarf.)

Having even the weather conspire against you is rather tedious.

I had a hat and a scarf. And then I lost it. I have been vaguely hopeful that it might turn up, and hence haven't bought another hat and scarf. Also, I did try and buy a new scarf, but there were no black ones in the only shop that was left open at the time.
