I feel quite, quite ill. Maybe I have been eating badly, but I don't think so; I think my digestive system has just decided to hate me at complete random. (It feels like my stomach is trying to crawl out of my throat. I disapprove.)
Also, I did predictably badly in my Progress Exams. The actual computer science bits didn't pose too much of a problem, apart from completely forgetting what a particular phrase meant; the discrete maths quetsions were both entirely incomprehensible, however. Whilst all of the Materials Science questions were quite trivial, they were also tremendously time-consuming, so even though I got to use some of the time from the second CS paper on them I still didn't finish. The maths was perfectly comprehensible, I just couldn't remember how to *do* it - for instance, there was a tremendously easy vector question I loused up because I couldn't remember the simple and straightforward way to get r.n=a out of three points in a plane, and two tremendously easy differential equations questions that would have been no trouble at all had I any recollection of how to do differential equations. I think I have some reading to do, which is of course why I'm spodding instead.
I suspect my medicine isn't working quite right, which is rather annoying, because if it stops working I have to go and let people put nasty great tubes down my throat to try and work out what on earth is wrong down there. This doesn't sound tremendously pleasent, but I'm informed that the other choice is to wait until the scar tissue builds up on my throat until I can't swallow, and then having an operation to remove said scar tissue, which isn't necessarily wonderful for my throat.
Anyway. Given that I can't decide whether to do maths or sleep, I'll probably end up at Games Evening. Such is life.
