Having just stumbled back from LARP, I discover that because I washed all my sheets I need to actually do complicated things to my bed before I can sleep in it. This annoys me.

the stereotypical student response to such a problem would be to go and find somebody to sleep with.

IME, the proper studently response to this is to put a duvet on the bed, and flop down fully clothed atop it. Finding someone to sleep with would be far too much effort.

This was the first idea I had, yes; my room is too cold to get away with that, though (if the heating's on all the time it keeps me awake). I did think about just failing to put sheets on the bed and curling up in said duvet, but eventually I was non-lazy enough to actually sort everything out properly. After spodding until I gave myself a headache, of course.

I keep sheet sleeping bags around, more or less for exactly this sort of situation.

As a backup plan, of course...
