chess: (me myself and I (general))
Yesterday I went for a long walk. I walked for three hours, just randomly around places. Then I got two busses home. I thought about making a map, because it's nice to find places to walk where there aren't any dogs loose and the paths are all clear. I decided that I'd do that next time I went for a walk, though, because I couldn't remember things clearly enough. Today it's raining. I'll probably go for a little walk so my parents are happy that I haven't just spent all day on the computer, though.

Am working on really trite and boring webpages, listing all my Rondak's Portal characters, because I have lots of descriptions and histories that I quite like all written up and it seems a shame to waste them. Mostly they'll be unutterably boring, though. Oh well.

I need to find things to do that are not on the computer so that my parents don't get worried.

I'm sorry but point (3) makes me crack up, it sounds so 'alternative medicine', 'new agey'1.

I suppose they put you in a bad mood because they're 'negative ions'. If there are negative ions comming off the screen presumably somewhere there's positive ions comming off, and by the above logic they're just bound to make you happy, so you just need to get some other monitors orientated to bathe you in them.

I'm going out a limb here but ... would it be Julia that shared this objection to the comptuer with you?

1I'm talking about stereotypes, so it's going to be a stereotype, I know there's not neccessarily any link between the two and blah blah blah unjustified generalisations blah.
