chess: (lego rpg)
I probably owe you all a LJ entry, although I'm still stuck at skip=100 right now. In case I hadn't told you, I'm
off to freeze my butt off on a campsite near Manchester this weekend, in the name of Live Action Role-Play. This is all [livejournal.com profile] phamster's fault. Should be fun,
even if my period decided to be a week late, in the spirit of 'turning up at precisely the wrong moment'. Technically
I should have expected it, with all the random swapping around it's done in the past to safeguard me from going anywhere near a swimming pool at a SU holiday.

I've spent the last week expecting to have a period and hence being very snappy and PMT-ish; I was meant to be leading at CH last Thursday but thought it was best not after having chewed several people out over the course of the day. I probably should stop beating up on Helena for being in the wrong place at the wrong time, but it doesn't seem to bother her, so I guess it's not too much of a priority.

We had Economics in the computer room yesterday and she discovered how to make Laura (the small one) jump, and then we sent a wheely chair over (express delivery) and declared that it was 'give Laura a heart attack day'. (The chair was originally aimed for a) the centre of the room, b) Mr Moore, but I decided it was altogether too obvious that I was the only one with a good angle to those places whereas as Helena had already been tormenting Laura she was the first suspect for the chair delivery.)

Yes, I'm mean. Did you have a question?

Anyway, Laura was playing Tetris and Pacman when we were meant to be working; at least we were pretending to be working while we talked about AD&D characters. The reason I'm at skip=100 is that I've spent an inordinate amount of time creating and messing with an 18th-level AD&D character for a random Rondak's Portal game Melody insisted we both applied for. I burnt two evenings trying to maximise her saves and AC. Her history is over 3500 words long - well, she *is* an eighteenth level elf, 170 years old, multiclassed four ways (Barbarian 1 / Fighter 4 / Order of the Bow Initiate 8 / Ghostwalker 5). And now her fortitude save is +30 and her AC is 41. She has four or five arrowshots (five if she
takes -2 to hit) at 1d8+13+1d6 per arrow, add another damage if she's firing masterwork or magic arrows. I still don't
give her thirty seconds against Melody's sorceress, though.

I am skipping school today. This is Naughty. Then again, I *am* in the 6th form and my parents are fully colluding
on the issue, so *shrug*.

WOW COOL

Can you help me with my epic level charector when jimmy lets us play. i want to see him weep. and if you can that those good stats out of 18th level i cant wait to see a 30th lev char you can makeup. If you have the time that is. otherwise it will be half ork half deamon with 20 levs fighter and 10 levs barbairian. or ill be sick and put all 30 levs in barbarian. ;-)

And if my current char dies (the lev 7 fighter and lev 1 barbarian who has a +21 to hit with his +3 great axe) im comming back as a half drow necromancer whith as much presteage class in litch as i can have. Hey my gm is a crule man some times so i can be a crule player. And when the hole lot of us get together were so like knights of the dinner table its not funny.

OK inportant stuff. Whitch AD&D 3rd ED sorce book do you want?

And good luck with the live role playing. It can be fun just dont get a non throughing dagger right in the eye like i did its is really painfull and there was a bump and bruise fora few days.
