Text in dreams
Dec. 17th, 2010 10:15 amContrary to usual claims, there was a _lot_ of readable text in last night's dreams - text of cards in a kind of vaguely Flux-like game with spaceship-building elements, text on signposts and door-signs while trying to find a dentist in the vaguely irritating my-teeth-are-falling-out section, and full pages of text with labelled diagrams on the bit where we hopped onto a Disney freight train and they had a little information package in the open carriage giving safety instructions, route guides, and generally treating it as an entertaining rollercoaster experience (whether it was intentional that people could get on these trains or whether it was just Disney being sarcastic with the obligitory health and safety guidelines was left as an exercise to the reader).
Other highlights involved
aquarionical zapping security sensors with some kind of ray gun after we got fed up of the damn things seeing through our invisibility (which we had been given by the government agents who had kidnapped us all and forced us to go on this crazy mission in the first place).
I wonder if the readable text might have had something to do with the fact I was woken up swiftly and suddenly both times (the teeth / card games dream was entirely seperate from the running-around-train-stations dream, but one was interrupted by someone trying to deliver parcels next door and one was interrupted by
tienelle trying to make sure I was awake before he went to the lab).
