Am ill. Am rather unhappy about this. Have got a slight temperature, a headache (of the 'brain is too big for skull' variety), blurry vision and general tiredblankmisery. We think it's some odd form of bad cold, and I think it's very ironic that the first year I have the flu jab (because I have a 'respitory condition', I get it) I get a case of what so far appears to be flu. Especially as the headache gets worse if I lay down so I can't even sleep it away.

I have made a golden Christmas slug named Boris. This is not good.

(My dad got a hamper from his work, and one of the items was tied up with elastic wrapped with gilt thread, so I tied lots of knots into it unitl it was all strung out in a kind of blobby chain, and the bits that were left look very much like antennae. Hence, Boris the Christmas Slug. I'm not sure why Boris. Maybe I'll work it out when I can think again.)
