I have made a golden Christmas slug named Boris. This is not good.

(My dad got a hamper from his work, and one of the items was tied up with elastic wrapped with gilt thread, so I tied lots of knots into it unitl it was all strung out in a kind of blobby chain, and the bits that were left look very much like antennae. Hence, Boris the Christmas Slug. I'm not sure why Boris. Maybe I'll work it out when I can think again.)

./~ Pull pull pull, tug tug tug,
Boris the Christmas slug.
Not a spider, not a bug,
Boris the Christmas slug...

Is this crawling ugly-mug,
Half-asleep upon my rug,
Some hitman? Or a hired thug?
No! it's Boris the Christmas slug!

Tune your dial, plug your plug,
Boris the Christmas slug!
Say you know, or else just shrug,
Boris the Christmas slug...

I love this creature oh-so snug,
Quickly thrown into a jug
And swallowed as an aspirin drug,
I love him with a hug!

He loves him with a hug.

With a Christmas hug.

The end.

While I agree it's not actively good, it's hardly terribly bad either is it?

Thank you, chess, for not taking the whole Christmas Thing too seriously, and thank you, marnanel, for making me grateful that I could read that ... but not hear it. *giggle*
