I think she may be laughing at you failing to spot that what [livejournal.com profile] jaq was highlighting was that you used 'to' (indicating a direction) when you should have used 'too' (meaning 'as well').

Quite why [livejournal.com profile] jaq should choose to highlight a trivial and common error when many of your posts are in spelling only very loosely related to English and appear to be splattered with entirely random grammar, I just don't know.

We can only speculate that he knew you would fail to realise what his bizarre action was prompted by and that the resulting confusion would amuse [livejournal.com profile] sath.

(Hmm, as a spelling correction for 'Sath' lj offers 'Darth';[1] Darth Thabana? Should we be getting worried now?)

[1] I'm prepared to argue that, while technically incorrect, the semicolon is nevertheless appropriate and therefore justified.

if you know what i meen why do you need to constantly correct my spelling of make fun of it and then explain later

Err, this is directed at [livejournal.com profile] jaq right? As I've not corrected your spelling or made fun of it, only done the explanation at the end.

If it is meant to be directed at [livejournal.com profile] jaq then may I recommend putting it as a reply to one of his comments as he quite possibly won't spot a reply to one of my comments.

Speaking for myself, I find it offensive when people are too lazy to write using English properly. It forces the reader to make more effort to work out what you really mean.

I can't correct every mis-spelling I see online, or I'd never get anything else done. I comment on the occasional one because I find it very frustrating.

I don't recall correcting you before, so I think saying 'constantly' is a bit of an exaggeration. I certainly don't mean to make fun of you, I think illiteracy is a serious issue. I assume that in most cases a full explanation of the mistake is not necessary and a simple reminder will serve.

Well i dont care about literacy. Im never going to be able to spell right. my skills lye in other areas. I think its a waste of time haveing 3 2's in this lang. to, too and two. whats the point in haveing different ones. and dont say what all the adults say cos context fill in the rest of the information.

The english lang is fickle and stupid. i do my best to phoneticly spell words and that should be good enough for all.

And i think that if you judge someone based upon there spelling ability like they do in schools then you are not a very nice person.

there are some difficult words i have been forced to lern by reppitition like tongue. WTF words should never have been spelled like this to start with.

Chess if you have a prob with this or my spelling i will make more of an effort. And im sorry if once again i have posted something that affends you.

Now that you point it out it does seem the obvious choice. Ho hum, looks like my grammar sucks too.
