I now have over 2,000 words of Quiet Ones drivel, plus a 19-year timeline, plus a rough idea of what the city they live in looks like. They want me to write about them. I haven't even finished editing my NaNoNovel yet! At least I have plenty of Haylar in hand for the moment, so I don't need to worry about drawing more of that for a while, just colouring it. I need to do this silly General Studies paper sometime, too, but it's awkward doing any homework at home with my parents here; the only free table is in the 'dining room', which is just archwayed to the lounge, so either they distract me or have to go away and hide in other bits of the house, which is inconvenient for them. (Doing homework is not a spectator sport.)

there's a cupboard in our (fin's and my) house which i've sometimes thought would be good to work in. it's tiny and out of the way. there's hardly room to turn around in it, though. i think maybe i have a greater tolerance of small spaces (that i can get out of at short notice) than many people.
