Whee. I am finally churning out the stuff NaNoWriMo was designed for - unadulterated garbage. Go me.

I'm also sitting here waiting until 16:50 for this Practice Subject Interview thing. And y'know, I bet they've gone and locked Bancroft so I can't get my stuff out by now. It's just the kind of awkward sneaky thing they do. I mean, I've basically got everything but schoolbag and lunchbox here anyway, but I'd like to be able to dump my folder (and my denim jacket, as I'm informed that I ought to be shot by the Fashion Police for wearing it with posh trousers and shoes) somewhere reasonable. Oh well.

I managed to create another character for a random RPG and then *not apply* for it! (I also must stop overusing the phrase 'Go me!' before I am obliged to strangle myself under the Handling Of People Who Act Like Brain-Damaged Fifteen-Year-Old Girls Act.) All my GURPS characters always end up 'Dead Broke' because I want too many juicy advantages for them, bah. And this game limited disadvantages to 35 points, so I couldn't be Dead Broke, Overconfident *and* Stubborn... (yeah, yeah, so I min-max GURPS characters terribly. and?)

This room has been getting dark for quite a while and I've only just spotted the lightswitch. Someone has left a pretty multi-coloured (but *not* rainbow-coloured, it doesn't have any green on) scarf in here. My arms still ache from Self-Defence class, which is doing me nothing but bad. Still, I get to throw Melody around, so I guess that's something.

Have avoided reading Callous Rose, but it stops Rondak's sending me nice little reminder messages. Have also got involved in some stupid High School role-playing game. I think NaNoWriMo is like dwarf bread - it's such a powerful tool for procrastination because not only do you have the writing itself, you have the irresistable urge when you're near another computer to Do Something Else - but that Something Else can't be too important or worthwhile in case it distracts you too much from the NaNo writing. I have, however, avoided Neopets for a couple of days now. (Aaagh, the 'Go me!' urge is upon me again!) Still, I've already written my over-2000-words for today (2680 at the latest count).

My Bible notes this morning told me to be positive, so I'm trying. Unfortunately this appears to give me the attention span of something with an attention span shorter than a normal human but slightly longer than a butterfly on cocaine, and a capacity for useful thought significantly less than my attention spam. Then again, 'useful' isn't very well-defined at the moment, especially as we didn't have maths today. ([livejournal.com profile] naath says I need to practice more if I want to understand my Pure work. Bah to that. I already have an hour's work that I haven't done on it, and a sheet of random M2 stuff (which seems to be all pretty straightforward, thankfully) to do.)

I really need to code some more. Of course, at the moment the school has decided that I can't run any programs from my own filespace, which means I have to use my Psion for any coding, which means coding on the project I *want* to work on (Kali), which is graphical (and I'm too lazy to construct a text-mode for it so I can code the bits that don't need me to mess with the graphics side of it), just isn't going to be getting done any time soon. Nevermind.

Doh. The chocolates are in my locker in Bancroft. I'd better go and make sure I'm not locked out, and do my requisite share of crying and wailing and gnashing of teeth if I am.

Yay for pointless and rambly LJ-posting.
