Well I'll just go under the water
If things get real promise to take me somewhere else ~\.

The book I'm reading atm (Lost In A Good Book) is written in first-person, and the person that's narrating is meant to be female. But for some reason I keep thinking the voice is male, and hence being very confused when the character is talking to their husband, for instance...

Rondak's has decided to be nonworking today, which is annoying as not only was there another email about applications to my latest waste of time, I'm also meant to be changing some of that game's description (well, how many ppl can apply, anyway) for my co-ref...

I spend too much time wasting time on here. I should be sleeping now, but I think I've forgotten how to. Maybe when my eyes finally fall out of their sockets through overuse. White backgrounds are already starting to be too harsh.

10am: woken up by parents who want to use the computer. realise driving lesson is in half an hour. panic.

10:32am: after dashing around getting-washed-and-dressed, eating hot cross buns, cleaning teeth, finding stuff to take, working out when free for more lessons in next two weeks, undrew downstairs curtains for no apparent reason to discover that driving instructor had arrived.

10:32am-11:36am: spent an hour driving for first time in quite a few weeks. didn't crash, due to driving instructor's good reflexes and sheer blind luck of not having cars around at crashable moments, like the time when I mistook the brake pedal for the clutch.

11:36am: plow into neighbour-across-the-road's grassy bank. driving instructor foolishly arranges another lesson for me, in which we are going to attempt to drive to school, due to there being no available slots at sane times. bound into house ready to impart this news to parents, who have disappeared somewhere without so much as a note. pour self glass of water and realise that breathing and heart rate is too high to drink it as quickly as usual without choking.

11:40am - 12:06: mess around online. wah at rondaksportal.com being notworking. read my vast collection of LJ-friends. wah more at rondaksportal.com being down when adventurer-application email found. wah even more at lack of commentness in emails.

12:06 - 12:45: parents arrive back from shopping for food for grandma's birthday party. they don't think that driving to school is quite as disasterous an idea as I think it's going to be, and encourage me to lunch due to going to gym before grandma-visiting. I dutifully lunch (one slice white bread with spread, gryuere cheese). I then spend far too long reading the Radio Times. Eventually I get embarrassed about reading the Radio Times and ask when gymness is going to happen. 1:30pm is set.

12:45 - 1:30pm: As I don't want to spend another three quarters of an hour reading the Radio Times (not that there's that much reading to be had off one unless you start on the actual TV listings, and perhaps not even then) I mess around online some more. rondaksportal.com *still* not working.

I can't tell from the comment timestamps when the tackleglomp of doom and the relavent fearing of such occurred, because they seem to be in a different time zone and I'm not sure which one.

Tried to get some photos from my camera to a CD-RW to send to somewhere which will turn them into nice hard-copy photos for parents. had to install camera software and CD-RW drive software and CD-burner program. collected them together then ran out of time to burn CD. Left it all up ready to go.

1:30pm - 3pm: I went to the gym, and made my muscles hurt. I enjoy going to the gym too much, especially when I'm in this dazed kind of mood. This has to be bad for my geekness.

3pm - 3:45pm: This piece of time went missing somehow. I remember the computer had crashed and lost my CD lineup, so I guess I lost it to the computer again.

3:45pm: Food and presents duly packed, plus a bunch of church-admin-stuff to do on the way, grandma-visiting was officially begun.

3:45pm - 4:05pm: Went down to church to do photocopying and leave some stuff around for tomorrow, found lots of people there unexpectedly. one of the cell groups is doing the Feast of Tabernacles tonight (they've probably finished now, actually, 'cos the reason they were doing it in church not the house they meet at was that they had lots and lots of children). they asked us if we had a garden-umbrella stand, but we don't any more. We posted tons of letters into the little tiny postbox because someone was parked by the big postbox. Then we went to grandma's.

4:05pm - 7pm: Grandma-visiting happened. Mostly I talked to my cousin Ben who's the same age as me (we used to be really similar, but he's got steadily more normal than me over the years, probably due to going to the comprehensive instead of a grammer school) and my uncle Paul. I still managed to acquire £15, three Kinder Eggs and an assortment of random sweets, though. And some chocolate cake, although it tasted quite inferior after being spoilt with [livejournal.com profile] passage's. And liver pate and salmon spread and miniature pork pies. So it wasn't entirely wasted time, even if my small cousin Samuel (6 years old now) did keep climbing all over me.

7pm - 9pm: Came home and began to spod, but got distracted by freeware Nibbles Extended, Enhanced Minesweeper and Dominos On Acid. Finally gave up and had a bath at 9pm, feeling rather guilty for timewasting quite so drastically trying to work out if they had any score or time overflow issues.

9:45pm - 10pm: Was very good and got fruit and drink rather than cake and chocolate.

10pm - now: much wahing about rondaksportal.com still being brokened. some more determined spodding. apparently I'm acquiring a [livejournal.com profile] sath the weekend after next, for the purpose of visiting people, almost certainly including [livejournal.com profile] marbles. Mutter at semagic for being brokened and flashing even when there aren't any new friendsposts. Finish typing up day in exhaustive detail and hopefully get some sleep before headache splits my skull in half. but that would involve sense, so probably not.
