oops.

I just realised that my last post had annoying shouty questions, so I'll repost it with nonshouty questions in a minute, and possibly behind a lj-cut tag.

Hey, you answered a poll in my journal, and you said "If people don't want to read your journal, they don't have to, but don't take away their choice."

So basically it is wrong for me to not let others read my journal. I shouldn't make it private because I would be taking the priveledge of others to read my journal. That is just about the stupidest thing I have ever heard.

I have a journal, which I use to vent my thoughts. I do allow others to read it because while it is personal, it is something I would tell anyone who asks. So what I want to know is why you think it is not my choice who reads my journal, since everyone, according to you, should have the chance?

And I am sorry if I interperated what you said differently then you intended, so tell me if that is the case.

I *think* what Michelle means it "Don't lock your journal on account of the belief that some people don' want to read it, because if they don't want to read it they can not read it, whether it's locked or not: they have a choice."

Of course if you don't want to them to read it then you should lock it. (but if that's the case then I would argue that that's the stupidest question I've ... well, heard in a while anyway ;-)).

Ah, ok. Thanks for clearing it up. I was thinking I read it wrong, but I couldn't figure out any other was to interperate it.
