Here's some stuff about them all, for the benefit of the ones who don't know each other. (This list excludes second-journals of people already mentioned, and communities that I didn't feel like mentioning.)

I got a bit tired out towards the end... but if you want to tell my friendslist about you, you could always comment! *hopeful look*

[livejournal.com profile] ahsu I probably picked up through [livejournal.com profile] firinel. She deserves some kind of medal. Perhaps 'elephant-hunter extraordinare'. Known best for long, well-reasoned posts and comments on the issues of racism, feminism and homeschooling. Possessor of half the world's supply of guts.

[livejournal.com profile] albanach is a very nice spod who let me use his proxy server when NTL was playing up, and who I've entirely failed so far to inform that I'm no longer using it 'cos NTL got their act back together. Sorry :-(.

[livejournal.com profile] araucaria is a spod who [livejournal.com profile] passage introduced me to on the grounds that Arau's friends chan on SP was very funny. I can't remember seeing him around for a while, though.

[livejournal.com profile] ash_uk hasn't posted for ages either. [livejournal.com profile] passage introduced me to her as well - on MBA4 this time, although she is on SP too.

[livejournal.com profile] badlybeatenkid has recently started posting a bit again after ages of having forgotten about LJ. She goes to my school, but never ever talks to me there :-).

[livejournal.com profile] b_weg is someone I know IRL. He lives in Durham, and (unless he mysteriously failed to put it all back up when he moved house) his bedroom is covered in Dr Who randomjunk. Most impressive is the cardboard Tardis in which is an almost-complete set of Dr Who books. None of this tells you anything useful about [livejournal.com profile] b_weg, but I can't be bothered to say anything interesting right now.

[livejournal.com profile] chezzie doesn't post as often as he should! Although maybe that's because he's busy now... and a lot happier than he used to be, thankfully.

[livejournal.com profile] childrenofbobo needs your love! Once upon a time it was quite an amusing collective-story community, but for some reason it just died (possibly the introduction of Pokemon and there not being such an overriding goal as the Quest for the Golden Spork killed it).

[livejournal.com profile] dandyrulesok is a completely random person who just friended me one day. I've yet to work out quite why. I friended him back for his cool book reviews.

[livejournal.com profile] dashdot just plain doesn't post. I don't really know her at all. I only know of her through [livejournal.com profile] hobnob.

[livejournal.com profile] deen is a Snail Dust character. Her origins are shrouded in mystery, and whoever it was who was writing for her appears to have got bored and disappeared.

[livejournal.com profile] dinner is an odd little community for people to post what they had for dinner, presumably so that they can remember it.

[livejournal.com profile] dreema is yet another spod. His spodname is Gribble. Something vaguely complicated links him and [livejournal.com profile] sath, but it's wise not to ask too many questions.

[livejournal.com profile] elwe is a randomfriend - he friended me, I friended him. He has a habit of posting interesting quotes and tidbits of information.

[livejournal.com profile] elynne has pretty dragon userpics. She is also an absolutely fascinating person. She also doesn't read my journal any more because of the stuff I said about homosexuality. (She's poly and bi.)

[livejournal.com profile] enchantedmelody is Helena *ducks and runs*. For some obscure reason she hangs around with me and [livejournal.com profile] naath at school, despite being almost entirely normal.

[livejournal.com profile] firinel is best summed up by what her name means: 'agent of life', someone who lives their life to the full. She fascinates me, too.

[livejournal.com profile] fizaratan seems to have forgotten about LJ. Maybe he's been spending too much time in the bar again. (Even though he now doesn't even have the excuse of being a student any more, he's still managed to hang around Durham University.)

[livejournal.com profile] fluffyarmadillo is/was a friendlyspod. He went through a bit of a down patch recently though, and got himself nuked from and then came back to SP.

[livejournal.com profile] ghoti is much less of a spod than she used to be. She's also one of the few randomspods I've actually met IRL (at a Poohsoc meeting in Cambridge).

[livejournal.com profile] haggis is also a friendlyspod, and has recently promised to post more... we'll see how long that lasts :-)

[livejournal.com profile] hashafp is a community related to an IRC channel I used to visit. Lately I haven't managed to scrape together the botheredness to go on IRC at all, though.

[livejournal.com profile] hobnob is a chocolate biscuit. A *plain* chocolate biscuit, because he's allergic to milk products along with just about everything else. My parents almost poisoned him by putting butter on the vegetables for Sunday Lunch at the one and only LonelyRodentClubMeet.

[livejournal.com profile] jaq is a randomspod who organised a London Meet which I almost went to but didn't in the end. He plays Warhammer and has very nice hair.

[livejournal.com profile] jarel runs Snowplains and Republic, and still finds time to do karate. Despite having a website called ninecats.org, he currently owns no cats whatsoever.

[livejournal.com profile] joncooper is now a spod, but originally I met him at XF, where [livejournal.com profile] passage mistook his singing for mine at one point, causing much fear and confusion. (And probably some insult as well, given that I can't sing.)

[livejournal.com profile] leisaie is rather an enigma. She randomlyfriended me, and doesn't write stuff often, but when she does she writes beautiful, literary pieces of art.

[livejournal.com profile] marble is yet another spod. He likes to grow roses and doesn't like plumbing not working. Some shmoo stole his wheelybin quite a while ago.

[livejournal.com profile] marnanel is the one who introduced me to LJ in the first place. He's team at XF. He is also a spod, has even nicer hair than [livejournal.com profile] jaq, and looks scary with a beard.

[livejournal.com profile] maximus_o appears to have too much time on his hands. I originally came across him through UserFriendly's Peer to Peer penpal service. After talking on and off via email and MSN, I ended up giving him a LJ invite code (which means that I've managed to give out both the invite code I got from this journal and the one I got from the failed experiment [livejournal.com profile] storyness. He remains convinced I'm the only one who reads his journal; if you want to scare him, go leave comments.

[livejournal.com profile] naath is, well, Naath. M'lisilinaath Aes Sedai Thabana, to be more accurate (or at least more comprehensive. She's crazy, but fun.

[livejournal.com profile] napoleonherself now has a job, which is something I find very hard to believe - and will have to make sure my parents never find out, because otherwise they might start seeing me as something other than entirely unemployable! I'm convinced she's my long-lost twin sister. [livejournal.com profile] steaksammich introduced us, after playing about with the find_sim interests thingamy (way back when it was available to everyone) and seeing that we had very similar interests indeed.

[livejournal.com profile] nephrozym stages a reappearence every now and again. I suspect [livejournal.com profile] marnanel's friendslist of yielding this one.

[livejournal.com profile] originalauthor is almost a randomfriend, but not quite - he runs [livejournal.com profile] weeklywriting and I suspect he friended me through the previous community, [livejournal.com profile] weeklywriters.

[livejournal.com profile] pacx is also from XF, and a spod. He hosts a very nifty PHP proxy which let me read LJ when the school network were filtering it - although I couldn't log in through it.

[livejournal.com profile] passage I also met on XF, since which we have spent an inordinate amount of time talking to each other, through email, on SP, through LJ, and IRL. (He originally refused to use talkers, but I lured him onto MBA4 by building the MBA4 Weyrhold and threatening to hold a practice Hatching there. I failed to actually hold the Hatching, but he was hooked on talkers anyway by then *evilgrin*.)

[livejournal.com profile] phamster doesn't get half enough time online, because his parents are mean. He also programs in VB *shudder*, but I have to let him off because he's the Punk Hamster. The background of my default userpic features him falling over sideways - it's more obvious in the full picture (which I can't be bothered to dredge up the link for, my website links to it).

[livejournal.com profile] phlebas is also XF team. He came and fed the 3am Rioters cola bottles, and was cursed to never wear tasteful shirts. For some reason, he seems to dislike people pulling his beard.

[livejournal.com profile] pling is [livejournal.com profile] jarel's other half. She's a scary PhD biochemist type person, and looks absolutely stunning in her wedding photos.

[livejournal.com profile] quoth_rachel hails from alt.fan.pratchett, back in the days when I had the time to read that kind of thing (i.e. when I didn't have two pages (of 25 entries) of LJ-friends-entries per day). Her hair lives a semi-independant existance and has plans for world domination. We're not quite sure whether her hair or mine would win.

[livejournal.com profile] riordon is the cutest, funniest and cleverest little girl in existance. I want a child like her. I think [livejournal.com profile] firinel should share.

[livejournal.com profile] ruhe is Yet Another Snowplains Spod. She's a grad student. She specialises in pretending to study and getting stressed about having just pretended to study.

[livejournal.com profile] r_win is also known as I Can't Believe It's Not Buddha. Best known for his many and varied roles in [livejournal.com profile] b_weg's 'Ravine Audios', and his cool Psion-like usericon.

[livejournal.com profile] sagima, also Yet Another Snowplains Spod, posts lots and lots of webtests and lusts after that guy who played Frodo in LotR. He also attempts to go out with a succession of young men who are no good for him whatsoever.

[livejournal.com profile] sath moved to Scotland and abandoned us, *sniff*. Her hair apparently looks good just as it is, if a little purple. [livejournal.com profile] naath sends her love letters.

[livejournal.com profile] sommerfugl is Emmie from Universe. Her obsession with ice hockey is distressing.

[livejournal.com profile] speccy67 appeared somewhere in the middle of the Great <100-comment Faith Debate. He's a Catholic, and somewhat hard to follow at times, but we love him anyway.

[livejournal.com profile] steaksammich drives a truck and is an unrepentant carnivore, despite his girlfriend being an equally unrepentant vegetarian. He is currently considering purchasing a pet alligator.

[livejournal.com profile] stipe is, you've guessed it, Yet Another Snowplains Spod.

[livejournal.com profile] thrawn is [livejournal.com profile] sath's sister's boyfriend. He attended the LonelyRodentMeet, smelling of cloves. 'Who let the Thrawn out?' was duly sung.

[livejournal.com profile] twobytwo2 is from [livejournal.com profile] weeklywriting.

[livejournal.com profile] vililee might win the prize for 'easiest-to-mistype-username'. She is YetAnotherSnowplainsSpod, and likes stringingwordstogether into phrases known as vilileewords.

[livejournal.com profile] wednesdayschild is scary. She used to go to my school, and knew me. And I don't know her, despite the many clues she's given me. I mean, it's hardly an unusual occurrence for me (people come up to me in the street and say 'hello, Michelle' and I have no idea who they are... usually they turn out to be from my primary school) but still, it's scary.

[livejournal.com profile] ylla is the sister of [livejournal.com profile] vililee. She claims to be able to understand the language of the Gaelic Sheep.

Phew. That took a while.
