Yes, really. I suspect this is another of my brain's attempts to make up a pop song, as seen before in 'Alice', which was even worse.

There is a tune, of sorts. However, I can't sing even well enough to do 'justice' to this ditty.

Was it something you saw?
Was it something you ain't?
It was something so poor
That you used as a feint
Was it something so raw
That you wished you could hate?
Was it something you saw?
Was it something you ain't?

Was it something you saw?
Was it something you ain't?
Was it something you wore
As you ran out the gate
It was something so sore
That you left it too late
Was it something you saw?
Was it something you ain't?

How do you know about it Wednesday?

I left CHS two years ago... you quite possibly have knowledge of my younger sister who is in 11H, but so I don't cause her embarrassment I shan't reveal who she is ;)

I have suspicions as to who you are - teacher's daughter? Or am I wildly off base here?

(It's good to know that there are others at CHS, apart from my sister + her friends, that are carrying on the Great Slash Tradition, by the way)

2 years ago... hmmm, did I know you? Yes, my mother does teach at the school, and is about to go back to full time too. But then, *everyone* knows who I am...

CHS has a 'great slash tradition' 'cos I never noticed...
