General Studies exam today. Easy. Did an essay on 'There is no significant difference between the natural and social sciences. Discuss.' Concluded that there wasn't, just for a challenge.

I think I'm bored. But I'm not entirely sure. It's not the kind of bored I can do anything with. It's an empty kind of bored. This is because I'm pathetic, and can't do anything important right.

Oh well. I think I'll just go and sleep.

As a natsci geek who tried doing a social science at uni for a while, I can say with utmost certainty that there is a difference :)

Certainly. What I argued was that the distinction between natural and social sciences was a false one and the distinction should be made between 'hard' and 'soft' sciences according to the quantitivity of the evidence used in them and the theories generated from them.
