Gah, I've been using the school computers so much that I keep trying to use the scrolly-wheel on my wheel-less home mouse. Maybe I should get a wheely mouse.

Gah, I'm just in the process of setting up a wireless network... if I have a wireless mouse too, soon I won't have any pretty tangle of wires behind my computer!

That sounds fancy ... and expensive.

Not massively - about £150 all told, and we could have got the stuff cheaper if we'd shopped around.
