It is merely a literal statement: while Michelle was here we took the dog for a walk in 'Bluebell[1] Wood', which has a lot of bluebells in, at that stage you could see the bluebell plants and just a couple of heads.

I *can* see what it looks like - I haven't spent a lot of time around Sath and Naath for nothing :)
It just doesn't happen to mean what it looks like. Some more context: Neil said that he was probably going to be back at Uni before the bluebells came out this year, and he was sad that he'd miss them. So I decided to tell him that the bluebells *were* out, and I LJ-posted it because I was feeling random and like I hadn't posted enough...
Is that a bad thing? =o.O= I like bluebells - at least, I like the way they look. I like honeysuckle, too - I like the way they smell, and how they attract butterflies and hummingbirds... but I like them much less now that I've developed hay fever, so when I get within fifteen feet of a blooming honeysuckle vine I start sneezing uncontrollably. I still like them, though. :]
We only have about two or three bluebell plants, as far as I can tell. And it's a very small garden. So we don't get butterflies often. And I don't think I've ever seen a hummingbird IRL.

An unimpressed Neil who thinks someone is just trying to bait him.

Okay, I'll allow you maybe its not obvious to either you or her, its just blatently obvious to everyone else. fair enough :)
