Today, my guts decided not to like me, which made me mildly irritable all day.

On the train this morning, I completely forgot about the General Studies Essay, so read my book instead of doing it. Ohwell, I've now just typed it (it took about 15mins that way).

When I got in, House Assemblies were well underway, so I just wandered about looking dazed in my form room for about 10mins. Then I wandered over to Economics, but there were some scary little people in the room, so I wandered back up to where there was people around and then went back again with one of the ppl from my Economics class who also gets my train. Eventually we just all piled into the Economics room 'cos there were only 2 scary little people there, the rest were at House Assemblies. The room was littered with bags. I started talking to Helena, then suddenly looked up and all the bags had gone - the room had obviously been invaded by scary little people without me noticing. Weird.

Spent some of Economics class writing down, in code, the 6 things I could think of first that were bothering me. 1 - Psion batteries, which had run out 3 days ago (I've sorted them out now). 2 - This Public Speaking competition, 'cos the other two on my 'team' seem really determined, and I just wanna lose. 3 - The Engineering Meeting that we were meant to be having on Saturday that I was meant to be emailed about and never was. 4 - The General Studies essay that I hadn't done at that point. 5 - The Maths Homework that I still haven't done, but I don't have maths for ages and I get two frees on Friday, so *shrug*. Can't seem to remember 6, so I'm sure it'll jump up and bite me at some point.

At breaktime, I sat around looking dazed, and Melody fed me chocolate. Oh, and Naath almost fell on top of me 'cos she was sitting on the back of my chair and I shifted my position to let someone past, which made the chair tip up alarmingly.

Then I had Physics, in which I gave the chairperson of our Public Speaking team a copy of my speech for her to start preparing her summary, and proceeded to continue my nice pretty geometrical doodles on graph paper, occasionally listening to a talk on Total Internal Reflection, all of which we'd been taught at GCSE.

Then P2, in which I distracted Melody and did very little work. My excuse is that we were sharing a book, she needed to catch up, and I'd done every question on that page except the last, and the last question I did at one point during the lesson. Oh, and I also asked for some help on a question, and then was, uh, a little forceful in how I asked for some numbers to be run through the algebra, so the teacher told me that I was giving her a taste of her own medicine (being bossy), and asked me to please not kill her.

At lunchtime, I kinda meant to go to the World24 thingamy, but then Melody distracted me Beaconwards, where we bought, amongst other stuff, a chocolate swiss roll. Then we just sat in Rm28 like normal. Well, normal except for the scary-girly-behaviour - both Melody and Naath were putting on lipstick, and then they tried to pin me down to put lipstick on me! Eep! Of course, I resisted their efforts, so they proceeded to talk about makeup until I started making noises and covering my eyes and rocking backwards and forwards. They revived me and proceeded to continue talking, so I pretended to have a fit, which managed to scare Naath 'cos she doesn't like it when ppl roll their eyes right back into their head :-)

After lunch, I had Stats, during which I, uh, distracted Melody. And listened to other ppl's conversations. And then I went home.

And now my guts seem to be content with me again, so yay.
