[livejournal.com profile] tienelle and I are getting married on the 5th of August! The service is at 11:30am in Churchill Chapel, then there'll be a party in the Carlton afterwards until quite late. (We'll be receptioning some mostly-family just after the wedding, and will then join the main group at the Carlton.)

Everyone who feels like coming is welcome. That does, in fact, mean everyone. We are really lame at organising things and telling people, so please do spread the word and bring people along!

If you have any questions, please ask us :).

I have an incey question - I had a post about eitquette today, and people generally said 'ask the bride'. I was wondering how you feel about guests wearing black, because I won't if it's in bad taste or objectionable for any other reason.

And *squee* :)

Felicitations! I hope you will be ridiculously happy together. Shame on you for getting married near where you actually live, since it means I can't come.

Sadly I wont be able to join you. I have the pathetic excuse that I'm getting married on the same day...

Hope it goes well for you, anyway.

Hey, congratulations! Lovely news!

I feel pedantically bound to point out that in fact two of the three people actually said "ask the bride *and groom*"...

Congratulations and best wishes to you both! We won't be there, (a) because I don' think I know you in RL, and (b) I'll probably be working. But anyway, I hope it goes really well, both on the day and for the rest of your lives.

Have a good day. I am getting married on the 4th of August, so will not be able to make it. Take care and good luck to you both.

Pubs= small space; lots of people in the afore said small space; lots of noise from afore said people in afore said small space and a high likelihood that I will get stressed or go otherwise odd due to the afore said noise from afore said people in afore said small space.

Hi Chess !

Have a wonderful, fantastical time on this special day. :)
Long live the magic, friendships, and most of all,
your amazing new marriage to your wonderful new husband.
(Also it is equally as important to memorize the memory
of wedding cake! :p)

I shall be there in spirit, as Bry, bless her, only told
me thismorning (5 mins before leaving) that I was invited.
(You know Bry). I thus, have had no time to find some
respectable clothes to wear, or wash my hair etc.

Anyway! Have a good one! (I assume you'll be reading
this afterwards - so hope it all went well!) I'm sure the
event will inspire a new breed of Oblivion-style wedding porn,
involving maybe bestmans & impulsive caterers (think karma
sutra alphabet & brandy) whose royalties will kickstart
your marital funds! maybe.

Hehe. Take Care.

Tiggy x
