I have seen a lot of this meme, lately:

"If you had me alone, locked up in your house for twenty-four hours and I had to do whatever you wanted me to, what would you have me do? All comments will be permanently screened because it's a secret. Then repost this in your LJ. You might be surprised with the responses you get."

I have no intention of screening comments, although you can reply to the meme as if I posted it if you feel like it. This is merely a public service announcement that, as with satanicsocks, my answer to that meme will be "the housework" without loss of generality.

Meanwhile, I have done a lot of Nothing today, and now there are Strange People in the house, who are arguing with each other.

I'd make *you* sit down while I washed your feet and gave you a foot massage. Then you could provide tea with sandwiches and biscuits and we could snuggle down for a nice, long talk. I would force you to let me brush out your hair (very gently.)
