Back from Oxonmoot. It was more fun than I was expecting it to be, mostly thanks to Monty, a 15-year-old squeeing elf fangirl. Recovered from being ill at last, which was nice, although I still appear to have roughly half a cold. My poor
tienelle was a little put-upon as I've been a right misery for the last week or so (people have taken to calling me Stressypig), and was still somewhat demanding.
Now I need to wander around the house with a Psion cataloguing what I've left here (and possibly packing it all up, although I don't know - maybe I should ring my parents again and ask) so I don't panic when I can't find it at home. Have to go home today (my parents' house needs a name so I can refer to it as something other than 'home', because it isn't really 'home' any more - it's just their house) to get Naath back to her parents.
tienelle ran off Edinburgh-wards earlier this morning (well, currently more of the running around the Cavendish and town in order to get things sorted out before he leaves), hence me being awake and having time to stall merrily.
I've been thinking about diarying lately; I haven't really kept a very good diary over the summer, because I generally only manage to keep it on my Psion and only manage to type stuff on my Psion during 'downtime', i.e. time I can't get to a computer, like on busses and in lectures. I like having a full and complete diary, but I'm beginning to be a little too upset when I'm missing time, and I'm thinking maybe it's becoming a bit of an unhealthy obsession. OTOH, it is really useful to have a decent record of the past; it shows up all kinds of interesting patterns. OTTH, I'd quite like to do NaNoWriMo again this year, and actually give it a decent go, which would necessitate writing instead of diarying in the times I get for diarying. Any opinions?
