I should really stop being surprised when a church service 1) tells me exactly what I was thinking when I came in, 2) offers no particular advice, just reassurance and 3) cheers me up in spite of that.

This does not mean, however, that I should not now proceed to get some sleep, and then get some of the stuff that needs doing done.
