Having got up in time to go to church, I discover that CLC is having an evening service today, randomly. However, I am now thoroughly awake. This means I should have a shower and do some work, which means I will spod until I need to head out D&D-wards.

I feel suprisingly unharmed after the ceilidh last night. After it I went on to a party at House (I think it was [livejournal.com profile] ptc24's unbirthday party, or something), which was moderately amusing but did consist mainly of sitting around talking to a background of random goth music. Apparently the dress code was 'goth', and I was pretty much dressed as The Anti-Goth (bright electric blue t-shirt, blue jeans with sparklies), but nobody else seemed to be particularly more goth than they always are. About 1:45am the party seemed to be disbanding so we decided to leave, getting back to Chu at about 2:15am. And then my key failed to work, as otherwhere detailed.

Look, I can write biographical stuff in my LJ as well as whining! (Especially now I'm on something of a more even keel, although I'm still due for Major Fireworks on Monday if I don't get down to doing some of this supervision work.)

party at House!...

I fear you may have been acting on second hand info. The line from the invite was: "Dress - preferably up, preferably black, preferably not too kinky. But I'm not too fussy".

And the music was metal, dammit!
