chess: (when her eyes narrow head for the hills)
I am not, currently, a happy bunny. I'd like to blame this state of affairs on the lovely, helpful glitches our broadband is having (on their end, not ours; stuff quits working and the router reports that the ADSL line is down, and then it comes back up), helpfully ruining my ability to write emails on hermes. This would be tremendously convenient, but unfortunately it can't be the culprit because I decided to yell at my mother when she quite reasonably pointed out that the place I'd stuffed some of my clothes would ensure that they'd get completely ruined in not too much time at all, before there were any such glitches.

I would also like to blame it on the fact that I should never try and organise 'parties', because then I get stressed about the logistics of it all, even if only five people are going to turn up anyway. However, it's patently obvious to anyone with an ounce of sense that everything is going to go at least recoverably, and so I could do with an excuse for not posessing said ounce of sense.

Of course, *now* I'm much calmer; I don't know what's the cause of the re-calm-ness, however, having done several different things to attempt to calm down.

Hmmmm
