For reference:
Today I spent about four hours in the rain. It didn't kill me. I was most impressed. Also, my coat did not leak except slightly at the seams after a while for the water to soak through. This also impressed me. So did the ruggedness of my cheap black gloves. I concluded that I like the kind of 'gardening' that involves laying waste to large quantities of weeds, but not any other sort.
I also managed to fit in just under four hours of D&D, and cusfs in the evening.
And now I need some sleep.
