Last night I spent most of the time thinking about my hair...

Bad things about its new length:
It's not really exceptional any more (although hair this long is still fairly rare)
There's not enough of it to wrap up like a teddy bear and hug any more.

Indifferent things about its new length:
It definately feels lighter, which is kinda strange.
It's actually not that much easier to brush 'cos it's still just past the length I can reach over my shoulder, and instead of smoothly brushing all the way down I'm tending to hit myself with the brush 'cos I'm expecting resistance for longer and it's not there.

Good things about its new length:
It's rather easier to braid, time-taken-wise.
It doesn't get in the way so much at times; I'll prolly be able to cope with leaving it down more, and my hair looks nicer down.

So, it's not quite the absolute disaster I thought it was when I first realised what had been done to it. I'll live.

And I checked in the mirror last night, yes it *will* still do the style in the picture here, just about.

<lol>

I'm sorry, I sould be taking this more seiously shouldn't I?

I once had a hair dresser who took rather more off than I expected.
I spent a few shocked seconds looking in the mirror thinking "I useds to have a lot more hair than that, it makes me look completely different!"
And then I realised that I couldn't see it at any other time and hence didn't really care, it was everyone elses problem.
And this way it would be longer before I needed my hair cut again!
(Except that Mum keeps insisting on my hair being cut when it clearly doesn't need it, so that advantage has been wasted. (Infact I think you've only seen me with very short hair .. but then it doesn't get to grow much before being attacked any more.))

But then I don't think I care about my hair in the same way that you do (i.e. I don't.)

How long do you think it will take to grow back?

(I hope you've noticed that Triki's already heard about it.)
