Repeat after me:
Thou shalt abstract thy interfaces!

I think I should be forced to write the game engine on my Psion, where if thou doest not abstract thy interfaces, and thou knowst not OPL, thou ist thoroughly screwed.

(Context: Every time I start writing Kali again, I run into the same problem; I set interface-specific stuff up (like using Tkinter StringVars) in general game classes (like the player class). Then I can't code stuff on my Psion because surprise, surprise, no Tk/Pygame/easygame for the Psion. Hence, I need to seperate out the interface like nox eventually did. This is easier said than done.)

In other, less techie news, the scab on my hand from where I skinned it falling over in chainmail has started to *itch*. This is not friendly of it.

Im play testing a friends game that just got back burnered cos hes got a kid noe. But i like new games.

It won't be ready for playtesting for quite a while yet, I'm afraid... I'm using the concept to learn stuff about various different ways of doing graphical programs, so whenever it gets anywhere near something to play, I start doing it a different way :). It does have a plot and stuff, though; it's a RPG, basically, except the twist is that the player is a housecat (and hence inventory and so forth is rather different).

I sounds fun and if at any point it does become playerble for us mear mortals who tremble at your feet ill still be wanting to play.
