New Haylar.
I tried working with The GIMP again, but it's just so *wrong* after using PSP4 exclusively for ages. Plus it doesn't let you hold two colours at once and use one with the left and one with the right button, which is a very useful thing to be able to do, and I can't work out how it calculates what to take and what to leave when you 'paste into' from another graphic, it seems horribly arbitary, and I do a lot of pasting into for Haylar, as well as needing two colours at once, and I haven't found the 'colour substitution' button either.
If PSP4 had unlimited levels of undo (or even about 5 or so, rather than 1) then it would be really, really good. I was hoping that GIMP would be more customisable (in the area of basic functioning, not filters and layers and other such gizmos only required for doing Real Artwork, which I'm incapable of) but it doesn't look like it's going to be any good, not with a *context menu* eating my right mouse button. Ick to context menus in graphics packages.

Select > By Colour > choose threshold, select colour using your mouse/arrow
while colour is selected choose the fill option, and dump that colour into the selected colour you want instead.
GIMP has unlimited levels of undo if you set it like that. GIMP only has a few by default so it takes up less room; more undos mean more saving, means more space being used by the programme. (Oh, that's not what you'd asked. bugger.)
Anyway, hope some of that helps.

Just out of nostalgic past remembering. I had the first 3 or 4 isues of PC format when they came out. The first 2 or 3 had double dencity 3.5" disks and ran on my amstrad 1512. Then they went high dencity and i could keep up.
The first one came with a highly addictive game called blox and i played it for years and years.
