Q: How did you get into Harry Potter? naath talked a lot about slash and dragged me to see the film. At that point I decided it looked actually quite interesting and read the books. Foolish child.

Q: Read the books? I've read the first one at least three times all the way through; I think I've only read the others all-the-way-through once (the third one twice, actually) but I've used them for reference a fair amount.

Q: Where will you be on June 21st (release of the Fifth book)? Revising for STEP maths. I'll be waiting until I can steal it from someone or the library gets it. I don't buy books.

Q: Who are your favorite characters? Hermione and Snape. Um. Lucius is pretty cool, too. And Evil!Ginny is okay.

Q: Who are your favorite relatively minor characters? I guess Lucius is relatively minor. I also have a guilty fascination with KickAss!Lily.

Q: Favorite Professor? Remus Lupin would be my next favourite.

Q: Have any HP merchandise? No. I don't buy things in general, really. I still have passage's copy of PoA, though.

Q: Do you relate to any characters? coughcoughHermionecough...

Q: Do you look like any characters? That depends entirely on how messy my hair is.

Q: What is your favorite house? Ravenclaw is where I'd be, but they're rather boring. So probably Slytherin.

Q: Is there a house you absolutely hate? No.

Q: Honestly, not just because of what house is your favorite, what house would you be in? Ravenclaw.

Q: If you were a student, placed in the house you'd honestly be in, what sort of house member would you prefer to date? A pretty one, of course.

Q: Who would be your secret HP crush? If I told everyone, it wouldn't be secret now, would it? Unless it's what your secret crush would be if you were a student at Hogwarts, in which case that would have to be Severus.

Q: Is there a character that annoys you to no end, and should you meet them in real life, you'd want to kill them? I don't kill people in real life. I might have to change that policy if Hermione/Ron really does become canon, however.

Q: Do you ever compare people to material in the Harry Potter books? Whaddya mean?

Q: Do you ever privately sort people into houses when you meet them? Oh yes.

Q: Who is your favorite founder? Rowena Ravenclaw.

Q: Do you really believe the statement "Not a witch or wizard in Slytherin doesn't go bad"? Nah. It's fun watching them do so, though.

Q: Do you really blame the founder of the house for all of the out-of-date prejudices that Slytherins seem to have? Nah, it's just you've gotta have somewhere to put them.

Q: Do you think that Draco Malfoy will actually redeem himself as many fandom folk try to portray him as doing? Unfortunately, this seems relatively likely. I'd rather that happened than Hermione/Ron, though, and the latter is more probable.

Q: Do you think that Professor Snape can actually go back to spying? Hey, my bad fanfiction is based around that. Technically it'd be difficult, though.

Q: Is there any character you would give your wand arm for, just to see them die? Nah. I might want to kill Ron soonish, though.

Q: Is there any character that in the event of their death you would have no qualms about holding Rowling hostage until the author writes the next book and finds some way to bring them back? Nah. I'd just write AU fic.

Q: Do you read fan fiction? Every now and again I go on a great fanfiction-reading binge, but mostly I just write it.

Q: Where do you usually haunt for fan fiction? Fiction Alley.

Q: What is your favorite fandom pairing? Hermione/Snape. Sorry. Hermione/Voldemort and Ginny/Tom are quite good, too.

Q: Who was the first pairing you ever read? I can't remember. It was probably Hermione/Snape.

Q: Has the slash bug caught you? Not massively. *looks shifty* I never actually *said* that Lucius and Severus were doing anything of the sort, did I? *innocent smile*

Q: What sort of pairings are you most willing to read? Dark ones. Fluff is generally rather dull, although angst can be pretty dire too.

Q: Is there any pairing that when you see it, you want to beat someone over the head with a blunt object? Hermione/Ron. Harry/sweetness-and-light!Ginny.

Q: What do you think of when people use alias like DracoMalfoysGurl? How unrecognisable.

Q: What makes you hate a fan fiction? Complete lack of characterisation, disregard for punctuation, and general lack of care.

Q: How often a day to check fan fiction? I don't even *write* fanfic every day.
