More Haylar. Complete with cheap but reasonably obscure reference.
Generally am quite moopy today. Have done a second draft of Alone in the Darknesss (short Snape darkfic) and sent it off to FictionAlley to replace the now rather substandard-seeming first draft (with gems like 'I will give you one chance for you to explain'). Am informed that I am too honest for my own good (stupid form at gym, wanted to know if I was taking 'any prescribed medication' - well, yes, I'm taking barrel-loads of prescribed medication, just nothing that's any of your business particularly - and now I have to get my GP to sign Really Stupid Letter which is going to end up being dishonest anyhow because it claims that I'm going to have a gently starting program with only 15-20 min workouts, the idiots, because it's a form letter that covers heart problems too...). Went driving and held up traffic in Springfield (yes, we have a place called Springfield nearby, it's true) by stalling in the middle of the road coming out of a junction; also managed to have my dad yelling "stop... stop... STOP!" twice.
Mm, reading about how to write is a lot easier than actually writing anything. Am lazy. I keep saying I'll write more when at school through lack of anything better to do, but I'm actually starting to have to do work. Shame, that. I'd rather be writing.
