I love YouTube
May. 28th, 2007 01:59 pmI have just found that someone has uploaded the entire video Hormonally Yours by Shakespeare's Sister onto YouTube (the place to go for all your music piracy needs).
I think the fact that this video was the first music purchase I ever made, and that I watched it obsessively as a child, explains quite a lot about my psyche. Most especially, I think all of my very favourite LARP characters are in fact attempts to recreate the scenes and emotions depicted in the video.
I wonder how much of it was that I loved the video because it expressed what was inside me, and how much I was shaped by the video? (It came out in 1992 when I was 7, and I bought it after seeing Hello (Turn On Your Radio) on Top Of The Pops, and I used Stay as the basis of some improvised theatre I did at the theatre group I was in as a child.)
