Today I returned from Ark to find that my shower gel had somehow shaken its lid off and was now lying contendedly in a little puddle of nice-smelling goo. Unfortunately, it was the kind of nice-smelling goo which had already soaked into the floorboards, which we're not meant to use water on, a fact I ignored because there's no other way (that isn't *more* damaging) to get solidified shower gel off.

RAR SMASH KILL

today I have:
downloaded Quartus to find out that the simulation thing works different in this version and I can't make it display any of my inputs and outputs that I want it to
tidied things ineptly, to discover that I will just have to munge it all together again because I need ring binders
done some laundry without any soap powder because I don't have any and have no clean socks
washed about half of the dishes that are lying about my room then realised that not only do I still have no tea-towels because the things I bought thinking they were tea-towels were actually dishcloths, I'd just washed the towel I normally use to dry stuff
filled in one form to discover I needed to put down references; I hate trying to work out what references people want so even though it was a trivial form and nobody cares about the references I couldn't finish filling it in
picked up another form just now to fill it in to discover they want to know my travel patterns today instead of just 'a typical day' so I can't use yesterday which was actually a good example of the kinds of travel I do, but have to use today where I haven't left the room
been incapable of leaving my room to collect my damp laundry through paralyzing depression
given myself a headache through wanting to cry and not being able to because of being too angry with myself
found out what room the BT thing is in but also that they're going to be late and awkward putting out what placements they have and their online application form
eaten all my bread so I have nothing for tea (and can't get to Hall because the BT thing is at 6:30pm in town)
failed to put new batteries in my Psion because it appears all my rechargable batteries are busted in some imaginative way or other and I'd have to find somewhere to put my battery charger and charge some up and hope they actually took some charge this time and didn't lose it immediately.
despite being desperately unproductive all day deemed nanowrimo to be 'too unproductive' to work on

basically I have not been well this entire term so far (nasty cold thing and now my period's due) and so I am really not bearing up very well at all. currently I mostly want to smash the dirty mug that's looking at me smugly from beside my computer (several weeks old cocoa dregs) so that I can pretend to be productive tidying up the bits.

there is lots that I could do if only I could get out of y room, but it's dark and cold out there and it just hurts thinking about going anywhere.
